If you live in Madison, Mississippi, you have probably shopped or eaten at Colony Crossing at Madison. The 45- acre Colony Crossing project was developed by Claiborne Frazier in 2003 and 2004. It is a mixed-use development and is located off I-55 in Madison. Claiborne Frazier envisioned a development that contained a wide variety of different service, professional, and retail businesses as tenants and that has certainly been achieved as you see it in its current form.

Colony Crossing at Madison and its shadow anchors include a number of different well-known businesses for the local Madison community and surrounding Jackson Metropolitan Area. These include the following:

  • Kroger
  • Home Depot
  • Wendy’s
  • 134-room Hilton Garden Inn
  • The Landing
  • Massage Envy
  • Donut Place
  • Nagoya Japanese Restaurant
  • Georgia Blue
  • Bonefish Grill

The mixed use development is also home to a convenience store, cleaners, banks, and many other commercial and professional service tenants. Bayer Properties, LLC and Wicker Park Capital Management, LLC completed a deal in 2015 where they acquired Colony Crossing at Madison. This is the second joint venture between the two firms. Claiborne Frazier has moved on partnering with hedge funds and equity funds in acquiring real estate assets across the southeast. We will write about his other past ventures and future work in other posts for this blog.
